Bullet proof coffee has been the popular high vibin' thing to sip on, but with our bodies transitioning into the colder months, some of us like to give coffee the boot for a few weeks and power up with the delish of herbal teas, tonics, and elixirs. Here is an epic recipe for those of us who are taking a break from caffeine!
Brew your maté first, then blend all this yum together:
2 cups maté
1 cup organic coconut or almond milk
1 tsp coconut oil
1 tsp organic butter or ghee
1 small chunk fresh turmeric
1 small chunk fresh ginger
1 small handful cacao nibs
1 small vanilla bean
1 Tbsp honey
Then add a pinch of each of these:
Strain and enjoy! This will give your body a boost, kick start your metabolism, and give your brain a nice good mornin’ smooch! You might not even want to go back to coffee! Blessing our bodies and beings UP!
